Overseas lithium battery factories in Europe, America and Southeast Asia adopt different purchasing standards compared with domestic manufacturers. Professional automation technicians are scarce at overseas sites, making suppliers’ local service capability the primary selection factor. Price advantage alone cannot win orders. Access to local engineers for on-site installation, long-term maintenance and multilingual training directly determines business success.
Chinese automation enterprises with Hong Kong offices, Thailand technical service centers and local overseas engineering teams fully meet overseas clients’ requirements. Nearby equipment delivery, on-site commissioning and annual after-sales maintenance greatly shorten fault response time and prevent heavy production losses caused by equipment downtime.
By export category, overseas lithium battery production lines mainly demand three types of products: 9.3μm laser processing equipment for battery films, cell PACK visual inspection turnkey lines, and complete sets of Inovance servo, robot and industrial control solutions. Southeast Asian factories favor cost-effective medium & small standalone machines, while large energy storage plants in Europe and America tend to adopt fully automatic wide-format integrated production lines. As global lithium battery capacity continues shifting overseas, exports of Chinese automation equipment enter a long-term stable growth cycle.
